스위스 비자 발급기(2편): 추가문의에 대한 답변과 비자 발급 연기

비자 발급에 대한 추가 문의

비자 면접을 본 지 한 달이 지났을 때 대사관에서 연락이 왔다.
스위스쪽에서 내가 낸 지원서에 대한 추가 문의가 있다는 것이었다. 이런 경우가 왕왕 있다고 한다.
아무튼 추가 문의는 총 3가지로 다음과 같았다.

1. Immatrikulationsbestätigung der Hochschule, auf der ersichtlich ist, in welchem Studiengang Sie eingeschrieben sind.
Matriculation confirmation of the university, on which it can be seen in which course they are enrolled.
구체적으로 어떤 코스에 등록되었는지가 보여지는 대학등록 확인증을 내라.

내가 맨처음 낸 attestation에 코스명이 안 보여서 그런 것 같다.

그래서 코스명이 보이는 합격확인증을 함께 첨부했다.

2. Aus welchen Gründen soll im Kanton Zürich eine Hochschule besucht werden?
For what reasons should a university be attended in the canton of Zurich?
왜 취리히에서 대학을 다니려 하는지 이유를 알려달라.

motivation letter에는 스위스에서 공부하고 싶은 이유만 적어서 그런가..?

대충 취리히 대학이 내가 원하는 분야의 공부를 하기에 적합하고 다국적 사람들과 교류하는 것은 앞으로 내가 원하는 연구 분야에도 도움이 되는 경험이 될 것 같다고 했다.

3. Nachweis der Sicherstellung der finanziellen Mittel für den Lebensunterhalt und Rückreise durch Vorlage von
a) Verpflichtung einer solventen Person mit Wohnsitz in der Schweiz unter Beilage der letzten drei Lohnabrechnungen und einem aktuellen Auszug aus dem Betreibungsregister des Wohnortes der letzten 3 Jarhre oder Kopien der letzten Steuererklärung inkl. Steuerrechnung mit aktuellem Betreibungsregisterauszug oder eines Bankkontoauszugs mit aktuellem Betreibungsregisterauszug oder
b) Bestätigung einer in der Schweiz zugelassenen Bank, wonach zu Beginn und bei Verlängerung des Aufenthalts je ein Betrag von Fr. 21000. -zur Verfügung steht.

Proof of securing the financial means for subsistence and return journey by presenting
a) Commitment of a solvent person residing in Switzerland, enclosing the last three payslips and a current extract from the debt collection register of the place of residence for the last 3 years or copies of the last tax return including a tax invoice with a current extract from the debt collection register or a bank account statement with a current extract from the debt collection register or
b) Confirmation from a bank approved in Switzerland, according to which an amount of CHF 21,000 is available at the beginning and at the end of the stay.

스위스 은행에 예치하거나 아니면 스위스 거주하는 사람이 보증을 서게 할 수 있냐.

이에 주한 대사관 직원분은 "한국에서 신청을 하면 당연히 한국 은행이고, 스위스 가기 전에는 스위스 은행에 계좌를 만드는 게 불가하지 않냐"라는 부분을 잘 설명해 보라고 했다. 이런 게 가끔 오긴 한다고 한다.

덧붙여 "스위스에 도착하면 바로 스위스 계좌를 만들거고 이체할 것이다. 현재로서는 스위스 계좌를 만드는 게 불가하지만, 요청한 21,000프랑 이상의 금액을, 한국 대표 은행인 신한은행에서 발급한 증빙서를 보내니 재검토해 달라."라고 적었다.

 

 

비자 발급 연기 문의

더불어 나에게는 또 다른 미션이 하나 있었는데, 그것은 바로 비자 발행을 뒤로 미루는 것이었다.

비자 면접 이후 입학을 한 학기 미루려 하다 보니 비자를 취소해야 할 것 같았다.
문제는 취소하는 게 별로 좋은 이미지로 남지 않을 것 같다는 걱정이 들었다.
그래서 전화 온 김에 대사관 직원에게 개인사정으로 출국과 입학을 한 학기 미루려고 하는데 어떻게 하면 되냐고 물었더니, 이런 경우는 본인도 처음이라며 조금 당황해 하시다가, 그러면 앞선 질문들에 대해 대답하면서 내가 출국시기를 미루려 한다는 것과 그에 대한 학교 증빙서류를 함께 제출하면 좋을 것 같다고 답변해주셨다.

그래서 이 내용을 위 3가지 내용 뒤에 덧붙였다.
